In partnership with WellSpan Health, Alliance Innovations led the full strategy, design, and implementation of a new enterprise website built on Sitecore. The project’s goal was to create a patient-focused experience that merged convenience, personalization, and privacy.

Seamless Access Through MyChart Integration

A key component of the award-winning project was the integration of MyChart directly within the website. The team engineered a single sign-on (SSO) experience that allowed users to log in once and view personalized, authenticated content such as upcoming appointments, messages, and much more without leaving the main website.

This level of integration created a smoother, more cohesive patient journey and led to significant measurable results, including a 20% increase in self-service account creation and a 40% increase in engagement across the site.

Personalization with Privacy at Its Core

Alliance Innovations also developed a first-of-its-kind personalization framework that aligned advanced user experience design with HIPAA compliance. By implementing Sitecore Personalize with hashed and de-identified identifiers, the system allowed WellSpan to deliver individualized experiences that maintained full adherence to the Safe Harbor method under HIPAA.

This scientific approach to personalization redefined what is possible in the healthcare sector, showing that it is possible to build highly relevant, data-driven experiences without compromising privacy or trust.
